The goal in developing the Oakley Jawbreaker was to create the ultimate sports eyewear. All important aspects were to be harmonized: maximum field of vision, eye protection, goggle ventilation and adaptability. To achieve these goals, the glasses were developed and tested from the outset with Mark Cavendish, one of the most famous cyclists of our time. Eye tracking tests provided new insights into the optimum lens and frame shape to expand the athlete's field of vision. As the upper area of the lens is used more intensively, especially in cycling, due to the sitting position, adjustments were made here, which were also applied to the Radar EV. Ventilation openings have been incorporated into the upper and lower edge of the lens to optimize the flow of air behind the lens and minimize fogging. The temples are adjustable and offer 3 positions for optimum adjustment to the shape of the head and helmet.
Of course, a convenient way of changing lenses has also been developed for these goggles. Fold the nose pads upwards - unhook the metal clip - move the nose pads back into place - move the lower frame bow downwards - remove the lens - done.

The Jawbreaker carries the Oakley spirit of the first eyewear models into the modern age and combines it with the latest technology, making it the perfect eyewear for athletes in a wide range of sports.

Oakley Switchclock™
The new technology enables lenses to be changed quickly and easily. The practical quick-release system helps (the upper part of the frame can be swiveled) to remove and replace the lenses within a few seconds.

O Matter® frame material
This lightweight and comfortable, yet extremely durable frame material is characterized in particular by its optimum protection and flexible fit.

Unobtainium®
temple tips, which are coated with this material, provide increased support for the glasses in the event of increased perspiration. This means that the goggles stay securely in place at all times.

High Definition Optics® (HDO®)
The patented innovative High Definition Optic technology achieves unique optical precision and quality. A wide selection of optional lens colors enables a reliable reduction of glare, better color perception, greater contrast and optimized depth perception. The optional Oakley polarized lenses block glare without the annoying side effects of ordinary polarized lenses such as haze and distortion.

Plutonite®
The Plutonite® lens material filters out 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC radiation as well as harmful blue light in the range up to 400 nm.

Prizm Road Jade
Prizm Road lenses make it easier for you to see even small changes in road conditions so that you can react faster and perform at your best. The rose base lens with jade mirror coating increases contrast, eliminates 85% of ambient light and filters out 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC light. Light transmission: 15%.
